My soul was chained down to a cement block yet surrounded by floating devices..... right in the middle of the sea of sorrow.. no matter how bad my soul wanted to sink ... it was always something present to keep it afloat (GOD) .... this heavy cement block was basically all of the labels i allowed people to pin on me.... and for some strange reason my soul couldn't hold on any longer .. and at that moment...... i became a victim of a very fatal game of ....... tug o' war ...( better known as spiritual warfare)....
During this time....... the journey i call life ....... was as light as a room with no windows or doors.... i mean it was so dark ........that you couldn't even see your hand right in front of your face... So tell me .....can you imagine waking up to sunset? .... my world was Topsy Turvy ... an ongoing cycle of ... disappointments ... shame.... and generational insecurities...
BUT
All of the sudden ... the darkness was penetratingly exposed .......by a light that i vaguely seen at the end of the tunnel
On Sunday, January 13, 2002 my life was changed forever.... i had an experience that i will NEVER forget...... On that day ... I turned My life over to Jesus Christ.....
He Saved me... and shown me a love... that i can't get any where else... My soul burst with joy and happiness like a grenade surrounded with dynamite... and the chains that had my soul bound ... fell like confetti thrown off the empire state building...
Ever since that day i have been displaying the love of Christ .... and my life has been illuminated with his glory, love and power.... If you don't know him.. he is the BEST thing that can ever happen to you...
Because of JESUS Christ ... I am ... Who I am.... Today...
A Beautiful Strong woman ... with a purpose... a plan... and ... a DESTINY...
